Rugby

The goal of rugby is to move the ball forward by running with the ball or kicking. The team which scores the most points,wins the game.

A match begins with a kick-off from mid-field which must travel at least 10 metres. Play is continuous and free-flowing. There are no “downs”, no designated offensive and defensive teams, no blocking and no automatic “turn-overs” of posession. The ball usually marks the offside line.  The ball may be advanced by running or kicking. Passing with the hands cannot be forward but can be lateral or backward. Players without the ball can not be tackled or interfered with in any way .When a player is tackled to the ground, the ball must be released and the player must move a way from it; play continues without stoppage. A “ruck” or informal scrum forms over a tackled player without stoppage of play.

Their are 4 ways in which a team may score points in rugby:

◦Try – Five points when the ball is touched to the ground in the opponent’s end zone.

◦Conversion – Two points for a kick through the uprights after a try is scored. The kick is taken on a line which passes through the place where the ball was grounded.

◦Drop Goal – Three points for ‘drop kicking’ the ball through the opponent’s uprights at anytime during play.

◦Penalty Kick – Three points for place-kicking the ball through the opponent’s uprights following an infraction by the opposition it  must be taken from the point of the infraction.

Parkour is an activity in which the goal is to move from one place to another as quickly and efficiently as possible, using the abilities of the human body. Parkour helps to overcome barriers, and is practiced in rural and urban areas. Parkour practitioners are called traceurs, ortraceuses for females

Founded by David Belle in France, practitioners only use efficient movements to develop their bodies and minds, and to be able to overcome barriers in an emergency. It may also be a form of entertainment or a hobby.

Acrobatics (such as flips and wall flips) are not part of parkour,because of inefficiency in a difficult situation (emergency). Freerunning is the branch of parkour, when such flips are used rather than efficient movement.

BAKSY

Banksy was born in 1974 and raised in Bristol, England. The son of a photocopier technician, he trained as a butcher, but became involved in graffiti during the great Bristol aerosol boom of the late 1980s His  art in the street  combine dark humour with graffiti paint  technique. Such artistic works of political and social commentary have been featured on streets, walls, and bridges of cities throughout the world. His expression is the graffiti , he puts his opinions in the walls of the city.

He has become famous for his artwork in public places such as on walls of buildings

He does it because he likes wings and also to warn people of the reality of society and it changed a bit.

  Artistic roller skating              Sofía León Robredo.

Artistic roller skating is a sport similar to figure skating but where competitors wear roller skates instead of ice skates. In the artistic roller skating. There are several disciplines.

       Artistic roller skaters use either quad or inline skates, though quad skates are more traditional and significantly more common. Generally quad and inline skaters compete in separate events and not against each other. Inline figure skating has been included in the world championships since 2002 in Wuppertal, Germany.

CLIMBING

Climbing is a non-Olympic and non-competitive extreme sport that involves climbing rocks using only the body strength. There are several types:

Bouldering: the bouldering is climbing small rocks without a helmet or harness but following a certain course and using very specific rubber-soled slippers for this modality calls feet of CAT also used a chemical substance of white, which makes the hands do not have sweat and can better cling to the rock.

Clasic climbing: is the escalation we all know, that is, upload a mountain until you get to the top using: harness, ropes, helmet, fronts and in the most extreme cases is to use ice axes, nails shoes and bottles of oxygen this type of climbing is very hard by the cold windy on the tops of the mountains that climb higher and usually sleep in shelters or tents in the own mountain.

Timanfaya National Park                               

Timanfaya National Park is a Spanish National Park in the South West of the island of Lanzarote, Canary Islands. The area is 51.07 square kilometres. The parkland is entirely made up of volcanic soil. The statue "El Diablo" by César Manrique is its symbol. César Manrique was an artist and architect who died in 1992.
The greatest recorded eruptions occurred between 1730 and 1736. The volcanic activity continues as the surface temperature in the core ranges from 100 to 600 °C at the depth of 13 metres, which is demonstrated by pouring water into the ground, resulting in a geyser of steam which is an attraction for tourists. There is only one active volcano, Timanfaya volcano which the park is named after.
In 1993, UNESCO designated a Biosphere reserve covering the whole of Lanzarote. The national park is one of the core areas of the biosphere reserve. Access to the park by the public is strictly regulated to protect the delicate flora and fauna. There are one or two footpaths, and a popular short route where one can visit by camel. There is a public car park from which one can tour the volcanic landscape by coach using a road that is otherwise closed to the public.

BMX started in the early 1970s when children began racing their bicycles on dirt tracks in southerm California, drawing inspiration from the motocross superstars of the time. BMX racing was a phenomenon by the mid-1970s. Children were racing standard road bikes off-road, around purpose-built tracks in California . The 1972 motorcycle racing documentary "On Any Sunday" is generally credited with inspiring the movement nationally in the US; its opening scene shows kids riding their Schwinn Stingrays off-road. By the middle of that decade the sport achieved critical mass, and manufacturers began creating bicycles designed especially for the sport.
